AIK BALDO: 24TH NOV MB - 28TH NOV BAR.

As already reported to you by various telegrams, I

beg to confirm the following damages sustained by the Kailway

through aerial attacks.

24TH NOVEMBER,

TAI SBA TOU. At about 10.50 hours 8 enemy planes attacked

Tai Sha Tou and 12 bombs were dropped in the vicinity of this

terminal station, with the result that 2 carpenters of the P.V.

Shop were instantly killed by splinters while 2 carpenter

apprentices were wounded. No damage was done to the property

of the Railway.

25TH NOVEMBER

SHJE TAN TU TONG. Between 12, 50 and 13. 50 hours the

kallway was attacked by 6 enemy planes.

$ bombs aimed at Bridge

No. 86 (Km. 531), 4 at Bridge No. 105 (m. 651), 6 at Bridge No. 119

(Km. 811) were dropped. 2 nombs were also dropped at Km. 92.

The No. 8 pier of Bridge No. 119 was sheared off about

1 foot above water level, while the 2nd and 3rd apane were lifted

up about 4 inches and pinched out off alignment about 6 inches :

part of the concrete bearing for 2nd apan was damaged.

Repair work was immediately put in hand.

26th ROVMBER.

TU TONG-TONG TOU KA. At about 18. 50 hours 9 enemy planes

raided the Railway. 7 bombe were dropped between u. 98/18 and

I. 96, and 4 at Km. 100/15, 108/17, 108/1 and 108/9. 18 bombs
